IDEA CAMP ⛺️
2 weeks of bringing your big idea to life while actually having ✨fun✨
Do you ever feel like…
🔬 You’re humming and hawing over WHERE to start!
🌱 You’ve got ideas, but having a nervy b about joe schmoe from high school thinking your latest Substack essay is “cringe”.
🎺 you’re “supposed” to have an action plan to start your project, but you're twiddling your thumbs trying to figure out how you’re spending the 45 minutes of free time you actually have.
🏋️♂️ You filmed the vlog, pulled the notes, but you’re scared of working hard on the YT video to only get 6 views.
🐛 Your “lack of structure” (rude lol) or prompting makes the “idea phase” to “book in hand” journey feel like a massive chasm leap.
⚡️You’re having 58,282 great ideas before you’ve hit the “brew” button on the coffee machine each morning. But, you’re second guessing your own creative genius before you even give those ideas a chance to come to life.
👼 You’re up late googling “perfect podcasting mic” that will surely grant you much success, and make your skin perfect too.
👻 Your half read copy of The Artist Way that you’re using as nightstand alternative is haunting you in your sleep, like you can HEAR mama Julia Cameron laughing at you. Surely you’re just creatively “blocked”?
🔬 You’re researching and overanalyzing the “best way” to start your next project, getting stuck in analysis paralysis – so you…don’t start (or finish).
IDEA CAMP
Your idea being IN the world is IMPORTANT, NEEDED, AND VALUABLE. You deserve to give yourself 1. time 2. space and 3. a big ole break to make it happen.
Here is the secret big daddy capitalism doesn’t want you to know. That having fun (in literally every sense) = your big idea in the world. Hyper vigilant perfection mode, tinkering and obsessing over all the details probably served you at SOME POINT IN YOUR LIFE, we have no doubt in that. It probably made you the boundary queen hottie you are today. 👅
But also, that part of you has no business finishing your magnum opus, and tbh it’s stopping you from starting.
Thinking about how/what it is that you need to create is one part of the process, but stepping into thinking modequicksand is self induced torture wrapped in a costume of “caring”.
Your story deserves to be told, your art deserves to be made, but getting caught in the HOW, HOW, HOW of it keeps us in analysis paralysis, telling our brains we are not to be trusted. Your creativity knows otherwise.
You deserve to…

ACTIVITIES ZONE 🛶😎✂️:
Idea Camp isn’t a curriculum based course. This is a training to FLEX the muscle of MAKING, even when like…it’s hard.
We do this by giving you the skills, training, tools and opportunities (time) to bring your ideas to life in a cohort of people also trying. 👉

We journey to camp. Our first Call on July 7th takes your idea through our Project Planner. We will sketch our your actions for the next two weeks to bring your idea to life!
We will break down the steps needed, create a not-so-overwhelming plan you will actually follow.
During this time we will spend time time generating ideas (if you don't already know what you're working on over the two weeks), and plotting out the next two weeks.
We will be using our very own DYE notion planning system – the same one we use to plan production of videos, write plays, stand up routines, launch web shops, launch services, and GET SH*T DONE! 🥰
You'll walk away with a sketch of your Idea Camp project AND the fuel you need to keep it moving over the next two weeks. -
These will be our co-working sessions. An accountable space for you to work on your project, while learning more about your creative process.
All sessions will include
a warm up to get our creative juices flowing (…ew? yummy? tbd!)
check-in and round table with Phoebe and Jacque to hand out any assignments and/or guardrails. All assignments, suggestions, or advising will be tailored to your project idea for the two weeks.
co-working to get. shit. done in a room full of people also trying. Kind of magical! 🧙

What Past Campers Had to Say🏕️
“You'll love the space that Phoebe and Jacqueline curated. They will inspire you to fall in love with your art all over again.”
— Kimberly Hawkey
“Phoebe's magic wand and Jacque's grounding wisdom made me feel more seen, heard and understood as an artist than I've ever felt before”
— Greta W
“Sometimes you just need two pretty, hard-working women who are weird like you are to remember you and your work have value.”

Here is the thing. We fundamentally believe we are all artists. Like if you work at a big glossy building in a grey suit, you are an artist. If that is a title you don’t wanna claim yet, that’s not our business.
BUT if you’re actually saying:
“I have an office job that isn’t creative!”
“I don’t make money selling my art.”
“I never wanna sell my art!”
“I am not a conventional “creative” person.”
We are so excited and ready to work with you! If you have a little spark inside you to create something and usher it into this world, you my friend, are an artist.
-
YOU bet your sweet butt there will be! Recordings will be sent out 24ish hours after (we are human women, not robots).
-
If you are not in a place to be moving quickly, make decisions or are currently taking another course we think Idea Camp isn’t for you right now.
We will spend a lot of time making, and that means creating the space to make moves. If that doesn’t sit right with your nervous system right now, or isn’t a resounding hell yah, we will see you at camp next year!
-
There's two parts (well tbh there is more but this is a sales page so I'll keep it snappy!).
Like I am the patron saint of thinking I can become a candle maker, going out to the store and buying all of the supplies to make candles and then stuff all of those supplies into a closet to never see the light of day again. But, what would happen if I let it simmer, let it cook for like .5 seconds? And the other part of this is do you trust yourself enough to know you're ideas are gonna be there for you when you are ready for them? And can we practise that self trust?
During Idea Camp we’re gonna choose one idea together, we’re gonna use this time as a practise in focusing in one thing at a time. Idea Camp is time to experiment, and resist the urge to ditch the thing when it gets “boring” and head on over to the bright and shiny thing popping up.
During Idea Camp you will be making alongside other creatives (and us!) so you will feel supported, even when it feels sticky and hard. Start to finish.

We have six meetings over Idea Camp!
We meet on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
